Ash as a young dog he had a lot of natural ability, strong prey drive, willingness and talent.  He is a natural  retriever, has always loved the water, and is a natural at honoring other dogs on point.  Ash has more point in him than any other dog we have owned or bred.  He loves kids and is very obedient and well mannered. We have hunted quail, grouse, chuckar, pheasant, ducks, and geese with Ash.  He has broken ice to retrieve ducks or geese. Ash is a grandson from our first four GSP’s we owned.

Ash earned his Junior Hunt title before he turned one year old, He passed his NAVHDA Natural Ability Test with a Prize one/ 108, four points short of a perfect score when he was just over a year old. Ash became a certified Therapy Dog, and earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen Award before he was two years old. He passed a NAVHDA Utility test with a Prize three/ 179.   Ash was able to earn his International Show Title in one weekend.  He was best of dogs in all four classes, and was best of breed two out of four classes.

Ash produces puppies that have a strong will to hunt, a strong point, that love to retrieve, love the water, and have a very nice temper.  His puppies are great for a first time GSP owners.   Ash is avaliable for stud to approved Dams.  He is OFA Good and has passed the CERF eye test.  We look forward to future litters sired by him!
